CHANGE YOUR FOLDERS INTO A CONTROL PANEL FEATURE SECRET DOOR
A folder can be used as a secret door to many of the control panel options,i.e, you can place control panel options right on your desktop just by using some tweaks to the folder name.
For accomplishing this task you have to append the folder name with a dot (.) followed by a hexadecimal code, And you can control some of the CONTROL PANEL properties right from your desktop. For example:
- Create a folder and name it as "cp.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}" without quotes and you will get the whole control panel on your desktop.
[note: there is no space between folder name "." and hexadecimal code, hexadecimal code must always be in parenthesis "{}" ]
- Here you can use any other name instead of "cp" but your hexadecimal code should be correct otherwise you won't get the options nor the icon.
Give it a try.......................
Here are some other hexadecimal codes by which you can get desired conrol panel icon with all its features on the desktop screen.
[NOTE: Some of them may not work in Windows 7]
